Polycarbonate paddles
Forget about the racket breaking mid-session, with polycarbonate this will never happen again.
Without a doubt, wooden paddles are a very useful instrument to break any will, but those made of polycarbonate retain that forcefulness with a similar weight and a smaller thickness. And, in normal use (that is, without stomping on a curb) they are virtually unbreakable.
They can be manufactured without perforation, this considerably reduces the cost but causes the undesired effect of leaving a layer of air between the blade and the skin that slightly cushions the impact and, while we’re at it, we’re not going to give up forcefulness, right? .
The measurements that can be made are infinite, the thickness of the polycarbonate for small or medium-sized paddles is recommended at 5 mm. and for paddles with larger dimensions of 6 or 8 mm, but that is defined in the order.
The recommended thickness has been used in the models shown and they belong to our personal equipment, they have dozens of 5 mm perforations spaced 15 mm apart (as many as fit while respecting a safety edge).
All the edges are rounded and polished and are designed to “age” in a glamorous way, accumulating scratches after each use like notches on the butts of revolvers (which if you want to make notches you can also, of course).
